About All-Clad® Products

The meticulous hand-finishing and superior construction designed to last a lifetime make All-Clad the standard in choice cookware. Cooking surfaces are easy-clean nonstick or nonreactive stainless-steel. Rolled edges reduce dripping when contents are transferred, and they work with lids to create a precision fit that locks in heat and flavor. Ergonomic handles are attached with stainless-steel rivets and their length provides excellent balance while allowing them to stay cool during stovetop cooking. Hand-polished stainless interiors brilliantly resist reacting with foods.

All-Clad cookware is ideal for induction stovetops (with a few exception pieces*) and also gas, electric, and halogen stovetops. All-Clad can go from cooktop to oven (up to 500ºF for stainless interiors, up to 450ºF for nonstick) to table to refrigerator or freezer.

Nonstick

Nonstick Cookware features not just a coating but also an innovative four-bonded system for professional- quality nonstick cooking.

Exterior: Easy-care exterior metals fit each individual Stainless, LTD, or MC2 Collection.

Cooking Surface: The permanently bonded nonstick surface allows food to cook with little or no oil and cleanup is easy. A layer of 18/10 stainless steel surrounds the nonstick cooking surface. The nonstick coating is rated for lifetime performance under normal use conditions.

Inner Core: Pure aluminum at the bottom and all the way up the sides for maximum heat conductivity and heat distribution. Prevents "hot spots" when cooking.

Handles: Polished cast stainless-steel handles feature stainless-steel, non-corrosive rivets. The long easy-grip handles stay cool under normal stovetop use.

Care: All-Clad Nonstick pans maintain the same thickness, shape, and durability as all other All-Clad cookware-no manufacturing standards are skipped to save costs. For optimum results, use medium to low heat. Never use nonstick cookware under a broiler. To preserve the integrity of nonstick cookware, use only plastic, rubber, or wood utensils. Avoid using aerosol spray oils, which can produce a buildup on the nonstick surface. Nonstick cookware is not recommended for dishwasher use.

Specialty Items

For measuring, mixing, frying, poaching, baking, and storing, this full line of accessories complements All-Clad cookware.

Exterior: Stainless-steel, hand-polished to a mirror finish, with gleaming18/10 stainless-steel handles and lids.

Cooking surface: Highly polished 18/10 stainless-steel, which does not react to acidic foods and is easy to clean.

Inner core: Pure aluminum at the bottom and all the way up the sides for even heat conductivity and heat distribution. Prevents "hot spots" when cooking.

Handles: Polished cast stainless-steel handles feature stainless-steel, non-corrosive rivets. The long easy-grip handles stay cool under normal stovetop use.

Care: Specialty cookware items are oven-safe up to 500ºF, and the nonstick cookware is oven-safe to 450ºF. All pieces are dishwasher-safe, except for those with nonstick surfaces. To maintain optimum appearance, we recommend hand-washing using CHEFS Stainless-Steel Cookware Cleaner.

* Exceptions: Because of their size, certain All-Clad pieces do not fit typical production standards. The Pasta Pentola and 7-quart stockpot are the only All-Clad Stainless pieces that are not induction capable. Their height prevents the stretching of the magnetic stainless layer all the way up the sides of the pots, so their outside layer is 18/10 stainless-steel. In the Stainless, LTD, and MC2 lines, the lasagna pans and roasting pans are made from single layer material. Their rectangular shape is difficult to produce in bonded metal.

Care and Cleaning

Before first using All-Clad cookware, wash each piece in hot, soapy water with a dishcloth or sponge. Rinse with hot water and dry thoroughly.

Salt Damage: To prevent tiny white dots or pits from forming on cookware, bring liquids to a boil, then add salt and stir well. Or, once food is cooking add salt. Pitting will not hinder cooking performance but can detract from the stainless-steel's beauty.

Prevent Water Spotting: After washing cookware, rinse thoroughly in hot water and dry immediately.

Discoloration: Overheating can result in blue or brown stains. If food films are not removed, they will discolor the cookware when reheated. Iron deposits in water may also cause cookware to appear rusty.

Cleaning

Cleaning Stainless-Steel Interiors: Place cookware in warm water. Using a soft cloth, gently apply a fine powder cleanser (CHEFS Stainless-Steel Cookware Cleaner) to form a paste. Do not use oven cleaners or cleansers containing chlorine bleach. Never use steel wool or steel scouring pads. From the center outward, rub cleanser in a circular motion. Next wash cookware in hot water with a mild detergent. Dry immediately.

Cleaning Steel-Stainless Exteriors: All-Clad polished stainless-steel exteriors need little care. The polished stainless steel exterior of All-Clad Stainless requires very little care. Use a soft cloth or nylon scrubbing pad to apply a commercial stainless-steel cleaner (CHEFS Stainless-Steel Cookware Cleaner). Use a circular motion to rub in, then rinse in lukewarm water. Do not use steel wool, steel scouring pads, or harsh detergents.

Cleaning Anodized Aluminum Exteriors: The exceptionally hard anodized exterior requires little care. The scratch-and stain- resistant exterior prevents food from sticking to it. Clean with soft cloth or nylon pad using warm water and CHEFS Anodized Cookware Cleaner or a mild detergent. Harsh soaps will lighten the dark surface. Never use steel wool or steel scouring pads. Do not wash LTD cookware in the dishwasher.

Cleaning Brushed Aluminum Exteriors: With a soft cloth or nylon pad, apply a commercial aluminum cleaner to polish off tarnish and dark areas. Rub cleaner in a circular motion and rinse off with lukewarm water. Never use steel wool or steel scouring pads. MC2 cookware is not recommended for the dishwasher.

Cleaning Copper Exteriors: To remove tarnish and dark areas, use CHEFS Copper Cookware Cleaner or another commercial copper cleaner. Apply cleaner in circular motion with a soft cloth or nylon pad. Rinse in lukewarm water. Never use steel wool or steel scouring pads. Copper exteriors and the Copper-Core copper band will darken with dishwasher use and harsh detergents.

Cleaning Nonstick Surfaces: Using a soft cloth or nylon scrubbing pad, wash cookware in hot water with a mild detergent. Dry immediately. Do not use oven cleaners or cleansers containing chlorine bleach. Never use steel wool or steel scouring pads. Nonstick cookware is not recommended for dishwasher use.
