Wusthof Story
As early as 1814, when the Americans were wrapping up their war with the British and putting away their weapons, a German family in the Duchy of Berg were creating weapons of another sort: quality, precision knives and cutlery.

Two hundred years later, the Wüsthof family of Solingen, now in its seventh generation of ownership, are renowned around the world for crafting knives and other culinary tools, each of which are carefully designed to perform with perfection and ease.  More About Wusthof

Answer:
Wusthof reintroduced the Classic Ikon Crème (off-white) line in 2012. A full array of products is available and the line does have a very contemporary look.

Answer:
No, I'm sorry. We do not carry Wusthof Classic Ikon with the Crème synthetic handle. You will have to go to wusthof.com to find out who carries that style.

Answer:
Asking which is the best Wusthof line is kind of like asking which is better: a Mercedes Benz or a Lexus? They are both outstanding in their category. It is a matter of personal taste. One type of Wusthof knife is forged from Wusthofâs stain-resistant high carbon steel alloy. The other is stamped from the same stain-resistant high carbon steel alloy. In the case of the Classic line and the Gourmet line, both have compression rivets that securely attach high-impact handles to the full tang. It really boils down to whether you believe one process is better than another (forging or stamping). All of their lines fall into one of these categories: Grand Prix II -forged, Silverpoint -Stamped, Le Cordon Bleu- Forged, etc. The only other differences after that, would be handle, bolster design and angle and length of the blade. Again, the best? Purely a matter of personal opinion based on ones experiences and preferences!

Answer:
Depending on the number of knives you need to store, the Wusthof Hardwood Knife Blocks are big enough to keep a large number of various size knives (and are beautiful to boot):

Here are a couple more links to others we carry, that could work equally well, again, depending on the number of knives you need to store:
