Why buy another appliance? I keep the bowl in the freezer at all times. Because I use my stand mixer so often -- it has a permanent place on my kitchen cart so I don't have to get another appliance out to make ice cream. I use this bowl frequently making everything from very rich vanilla bean ice cream to fruit juice sorbets. I like it too because it seems to work equally well making a small batch as a larger batch. I sometimes make only a half pint of ice cream or sorbet -- just enough for my husband and me with no leftovers. Learn More
