I love this knife, i use this knife on a daily basis all day long, it is the most balanced knife i have ever used. rarely does it need to be sharpened, and one of the sharpest blades ever. the feel in your hand is one of comfort as the balance of the knife fits perfectly in hand, both weight and size. i highly suggest this knife for anyone looking for an amazing blade, one of the best!

Best Knives You Can Get!
The Shun knives are simply superb. They have great balance, are the easiest knives to sharpen I've ever used, take and hold a better edge than any other kitchen knife I've ever used, and look great too! I use this knife daily and it only needs to be touched up with a steel every 3-4 weeks. It is sharper than any other knife I've ever used, including high-end German cutlery and even ceramic blades. I'd recommend these knives to anyone who wants a high-quality blade.

Shun Knives are the best
The sharpest most well designed knives around.! As a former pastry chef, I've used a lot of different knives and these are my favorite. The oval shape of the handle makes them fit perfectly in the hand and of course they are beautiful to look at. This 6" knife is my first choice for general slicing and dicing. It's the perfect size between the too-large -or-me 8" or 10" chef's knives and a paring knife.

Amazing
Not only is this a beautiful knife, it is very ergonomic and well sized for smaller, feminine hands. A tool every kitchen should have!

Excellent Knife
I have been using this knife for 2 months now. I'm impressed by the design of the blade. It has a nice edge shape that is curved towards the tip. This allows for a nice downward slicing action for dicing vegetables like onions. Like all shun knives, it has a great balance between the blade and handle. Due to the size of the knife, I use it more like a utility knife. It's great advantage being the larger belly prevents my knuckles from scraping the cutting board. Overall, I can use this for 90% of daily cutting needs. Great purchase for me.
