Good price & the right # of knives
I had priced these knives both on and off line, this was the best value. Our kids gave us a starter set of Wusthof Knives for Christmas a year ago. I know you pay for what you get but some of the places I checked were double the price for only 4 knives. I love my steak knives. Wouldn't trade them for any others.

Don't know why I waited so long
I have been thinking about buying another set of steak knives for quite awhile. Well, other priorities came up. The decision was made, the order placed, the knives arrived, and WOW! Sure wish that I had not waited so long. Just super, I'd recommend them to anyone at anytime!

Great Purchase
I love the fit of these knives, and they slice through steak easily. I went back and ordered a set for my daughter.

Great Knives
We have Hinkle steak knives, but needed more than four. I bought these Wusthof after having several of their knives. They're great! I recommend these for nice basic steak knives. They fell nice when cutting through meat and very sharp!

Wusthof gourmet steak knife
I agree with the first review... Ours are splitting slightly, too. However, to be fair, ours are often put in the dishwasher and I was always told by my mom "never put wooden handled utensils in the dishwasher!" Though Wusthof says they're dishwasher safe, but best not to... they really should be handled like regular knives, which I never put in that box! I need to replace some and I think I'll go with the more expensive ones now. You get what you pay for...

Not worth the money
These knives are not a product typical of Wusthof. They do not keep their edge. They bend while cutting into steak or other meat. After one year, the handles started split and crack slightly. You are better off spending another $100.00 for 4 classic steak knives.
