Awesome Product
I was a bit hesitant to purchase this for my husband but the reviews convinced me otherwise. My husband loved this sieve and said it was perfect. We use to have a pasta pot with strainer on the lid and he said this hands down beats it. Is easy to use, convenient to store and easy to clean. A+ item.

Simple!
I really like this! It is easier to use than the strainer with one handle that you have to fumble holding the pot with one hand and the strainer in the other. I also like it better than a colander that slides around in the sink as you pour the pot of water and pasta into it. I love gadgets of convenience!

It works and doesn't rust
No matter the size of pan, the sieve keeps the food in the pan while easily draining the water. Wish I'd had this years ago as I use it almost daily. Beautifully crafted, its high quality stainless steel does not eventually lose its polished appearance and turn to an ugly gray nor do the edges start to rust after being washed in the dishwasher day after day. I highly recommend this simple but most efficient and beautiful kitchen tool.

Great for large pans
Good size for pans that have handles on both sides as in marketing pic but a bit bulky for smaller single hande sauce pans. Good weight and seems to be made of very durable material, expecting long life.

Oh so handy!
I use the pour-off sieve almost everyday. It is so handy for big & small pots. And goes in the dishwasher for clean up. I just got a 2nd one for the RV!

Label defeats it
This is designed more for large pots than small, which is too bad, because of course small pots are what you want a hand-held sieve for.
Also, the perforations are covered by an impossible-to-remove label. To free up the holes, you have to soak it for hours and then rub the paper away.
After you do, the nice stainless steel finish is ruined by the gummy adhesive that remains. It resists soaking, scrubbing, nail polish remover, etc.
