These knives are great!!!
They have large wooden handles that are easy to grip for my husband who is a big guy. They are also very sharp and classy looking. I really like these knives. A great item for yourself or a nice gift!!!

Best Knives Ever
These are the best knives ever. They are heavy duty and feel great in my hands. They make short work of anything you cut, and hold an edge to boot. Thanks for a outstanding addition to my kitchen.

PorterHouse Pakkawood Steak Knives
they are huge compared to the picture, not your average size steak knives, HOWEVER, they're so strong that I use them for many other kitchen tasks besides slicing meat..I love these knives..So glad I purchased them :)

Great knives
I just got them so I don't know how well they will hold up, but they are great so far. Very sharp, they cut well and I like the large size. Very meat oriented. Really nice for the price.

Great set of knives
The knives work very well. I have had no trouble with them not cutting any type of meat so far. They clean up easily as well.

The knives are very clunky
These knives were a big disappointment. They were huge, not something I would put on a dinner table, probably great for a picnic table. They were very sturdy but the handles felt rough. I did send them back.

Beware!!!
Manufacturer changed style prior to notifying Chef's Catalog. Was originally shown and described to having 3 rivets but is now showing correct qty of 2. Picture shown is still showing sharp tip but in actuality is round not pointy. I was very suprised at the huge overall size of not only the blade but of the handle. Package states JUMBO steak knives and believe me when I say they are definately huge. They look to be of great quality but may be hard to use for a more dainty sized hand. This is definately made for the man who enjoys taring into a hefty t-bone or porterhouse steak.
