"This is the age of silicone! Amazing material that can handle hot pots and use as a trivet. Quick and easy to clean. Doesn't wear out or get old and used looking. At first I was reluctant to get rid of the cloth ones, it was something I had to get use to grabbing, but now my cloth potholders are long gone. Another great use for this potholder is keeping your mixing bowl in place if your bowl doesn't have a rubber bottom."

Pros: Appearance/ Design /Style, Easy to Clean/Wash, easy to store, Functional/Useful, Long-lasting, Value for Money

"Overall these are very good potholders. For larger pans or handles they are perfect. If you're trying to grab smaller items with them they might be a little too stiff but still not bad. Also they are great as trivets and if you spill something on them, cleanup is a breeze."

Cons: difficult for oven use, hard to hold when wet

"This is a great pot holder for pot handles and for use as a trivet, but the slick surface makes it almost impossible to use for taking hot pans out of the oven because it doesn't conform to the pan as well as cloth does. Also, if you're like me and multi task when you cook (cleaning as you go), make sure your hands are completely dry before trying to pick up something up, or the pot holder will slip right out of your grip. Bottom line for me - it didn't replace my old standby terry cloth holders."
