I have no idea why this works (science was never my strong suit), but this little gizmo has at least doubled the shelf-life of my herbs. It's especially great with leafy, temperamental plants like cilantro and basil. I used to waste at least half the cilantro I bought, because it wilted and rotted before I could use it all. Not any more. And it takes up no more room in the fridge than a medium-size soda bottle. I just bought a second one. Learn More
