Absolutely Great!!!
We had forgotten what REAL coffee tastes like since we have had automatic coffeemakers for quite a few years. When the last one broke down, (an average of one every two or three years) we decided on a percolator.
After looking at several, we decided on the Cuisinart partly because of Cuisinart quality products and partly because of appearance.
This is a hit in both catagories. The coffee is SO much better than automatic makers and the pot is beautiful.
Very, very satisified

Great coffee pot
the Cuisinart Coffee pot is great. Perks coffee rapidly, with excellent favor. the pot is easy to handle, not as heavy or bulky as our previous brand., and serves the coffee hot!! The red light always assures you the coffee is ready for your enjoyment!

Easy to use and good looking
I purchased this coffeepot to make my decaf for the evening hours but it is so easy to use and clean that I also use it in the mornings now. The perking sound brings back good memories of the old stove top percolator. It keeps the coffee hot and freshly brewed for hours.

Works well.
Arrived on time. Works as advertised. Have owned for 2 weeks and do far so good. Brews quickly and does not burn the coffe if left in for a few hours.

Makes great coffee
This percolator makes the best pot of coffee! The unfortunate part is that these percolators do not last that long, on average 4-6 months before the heating element usually burns out. The new "record" was the last one we bought which lasted only 2 weeks. We will have to think twice before buying one again even though we have been using these for years because they DO make a great pot of coffee.

Love-it but loose basket lid.
The inside diameter of coffee BASKET is a sizeable amount larger than the outside(fitting)diameter of the mating LID to the basket. Suggest increasing outside diameter of LID as to be a snug-fit or even snap-fit into basket. AS of now, the coffee in the basket is forced out under the lid by water pressure into the coffee drink leaving GROUNDS because of loose fit. NOTE do use the proper grind of coffee.
As I recall my Mother always used a Percolator, that I raised out many times. That lid snapped into the basket.
The top cover of pot has taps that allow it to snap-fit onto body of pot.
Overall rating: 9.5

Makes great coffee. Gets hot as promised; however, the coffee does retain a hot temperate.
