Pleasantly surprised!
I've used this 2.75qt pot on several occasions and I really like the way it cooks. Its the perfect size for sauces and smaller dishes. I use other high quality pots/pans and I heard about Scanpan and thought I'd give it a try. I use a gas range and find that the pot heats evenly. The pot came with small pot holder handle covers that come in handy and a lid with a few small vent holes on the side.
I would not hesitate to buy another Scanpan.

well worth it
This is my 1st experience with Scanpan, and felt it was a little more than I wanted to spend. I couldn't find anything as suitable, so I decided to splurge. After trying it, I was amazed at the difference in its performance than what I am used to using. I love it, and would recommend it to anyone.

Love this pan!
Needed a replacement for my 30 year old, 5qt. cooking pot. Most products are available in 4 qt., too small, or 6 qt., too large. The Scanpan 5.5 qt. was the perfect choice. The ceramic titanium is a remarkable finish and is truly non-stick. I carefully followed the directions for preparation and use of the pan. I have learned to never use oil from aerosol sprays and to heat the pan to cooking temperature prior to adding any fat, oil or food. Because of the design of the non-stick coating, you can truly cook without any oil if you so desire. Scanpan heats evenly and rarely needs to have the stove setting above medium to cook the full 5.5 qt. capacity. The small pot holders that cover the metal handles work better than expected.
I do love this pan and it is a dream to clean.

Reliable and attractive
Scanpan Professional pans are reliable in their heating and cooking, and good looking. Lighter in weight than the old Lodge iron pans, much easier to handle, and definitely non-stick.
I recommend!
