Great jars-second set ordered
These are a nice heavy glass and the latch is solid, nothing flinsy about it. I like the square shape to use the most of my slide our pantry drawers. I have several of these and store everything from rice and oat flour to dried beans and bulk dehydrated foods. Love them. Just wish they were available in some smaller sizes.

Best Purchase Ever
I bought these a year ago, and I love them. They look clean and neat and are an excellent way to store flour or sugar. Easy to clean and seals great.

what I expected and more!
These are excellent, storage jars, heavy duty so do not be worried about them breaking when you wash them.

Not as great as the older ones.
I've used these for about 30 years and finally needed to replace and add more jars. The newer ones have a thinner wire band. (Glass is fine) When mine arrived, the wires on 2 of the 3 jars need to be tightened. The glass lid on one literally fell off because the wire was too loose. It is easily tightened with needle nosed pliers but you shouldn't have to do that. After several months, I can see that the crimp on the wire has loosened again and needs to be redone. I do use this one jar everyday, but I also used my old one everyday and it never needed attention.

Fantastic storage jars
This set of jars is a terrific buy. The seals are exactly what I was looking for to keep foods fresh. Definite plus and a real bargain for the sizes and quality of glass.

Great for staple storage!
I bought two sets of the two and three liter jars for pantry storage of dry staples such as rice, pasta, coffee etc. I am trying to replace as much of my plastic storage with glass and these seem to fit the bill very well. They are made in Italy and the glass is heavy and appears to be good quality. The wire closures have held up well so far and the rubber gaskets do help with air-tightness, though I don't know that they are 100 percent air tight. The main reason I didn't give them five stars is because of the fact that they were not very well packed for shipping. Mine arrived okay, but that may have been more luck than design. Also, I wish that they offered smaller sizes.

Great Canisters
These canisters are great and will match any kitchen decor. They hold the entire contents of the original container such as a bag of sugar or flour and look good on the counter top and are very organized in the pantry.
