I already had one of these but bought one for my nephew after he told me he cut his finger trying to cut up a mango. Hopefully there will be no more bloodshed in the name of good food.

Oxo Mango Splitter
I love this product. In the past I rarely ate mangos because of it being so messy. With the mango splitter the mango has 2 perfect halves. Using a spoon the meat is easily removed from the skin. I eat a mango each day now.,

My new favorite kitchen gadget!
I love mango, but they can be really tough to pare and peel. This tool makes it so easy to remove the hard pit and the method for removing the flesh shown on the product package is so much easier than trying to peel the fruit.

Not too bad
I received this as a Christmas gift and really like it. I cut the mango with a dish towel below so that I am able to completely cut through the skin. It does leave a little flesh on the pit, but well worth it.

oxo mango splitter
this is the next best item in years! I have been trying to cut mangos for years and no luck, this is great, I love it and it is so easy!

Mango slicer (not a favorite)
Only device from Chefs have received which did not excede expectations; problem: blade will not penetrate tuff mango skin so pushes skin into meat of fruit. Needs very sharp blade and have not defined way to sharpen yet. Not effective in my hands for designed purose Any thoughts??

Great product, easy to use, easy to clean. If you love fresh mangoes, you need this splitter!
