I have a Cafe and serve sandwiches and hamburgers daily. Tomatoes are the most difficult vegetable to slice, with knives or slicers, especially in uniform slices. The Microplane V-Slicer slices tomatoes (even ripe ones) like they were butter - it is amazing! With the cost of tomatoes today, I can vary the thickness of the slices to be very cost effective. I have tried other popular slicers and specialty tomato knives and they never worked on tomatoes (green or ripe). After purchasing the Microplane V-Slicer for the Cafe, I just had to order one for home and one for my daughter! Everyone should have one in their kitchen for slicing EVERYTHING! Learn More
