Kitchenaid Wire Whip
My original wire whip had broken from use with my Kitchenaid Mixer. Replacing it was sooo easy! I went to the Chef's Catalog found the replacement part and ordered. It came in 3-4 days after ordering. I will remember Chefs for future orders. I was amazed at the simplicity of ordering and the short time it took for me to be back whipping up delicacies with my mixer and new whip.

Ancient Kitchenaid mixer gets new whisk!
I am really pleased that Chef's Catalog has replacement parts for older mixers and well as the latest attachments. There is no longer a tremendous clatter when I whip cream!!!!

This attachment a must for Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer
Lost this attachment in our last move and couldn't live without it. I use this wire whip to mix just about everything. My last one lasted over 10 years and I wouldn't have needed to purchase another one except that it was lost among two boxes that didn:t make it onto (or off of) the truck.

Beats the Whisk!
My KitchenAid would not be complete without this attachment. With it I get quick results not easily achieved by hand. I mostly use it for whipping egg-whites sufficiently so that I can omit baking powder from things like cornbread and pancakes (for me this is a tickling satisfaction). You'll find it useful for just about anything requiring a whisk.

KitchenAid Whire Whip Blade
The Wire Whip blade for KitchenAid tilt-head mixers is marvelous for creating fluffy batters, meringues, flavored butters, whipped creams and fillings. It rapidly incorporates air into egg mixtures for fluffy omelettes, meringues and soufflés.
The whip's metal construction is heavier and more durable than those used with hand-held mixers, resisting bending, and cleans up easily in warm, soapy water.
As many recipes require separate mixing of ingredients (such as whipping egg mixtures for foam or angel food cakes), I find having a spare mixing bowl a real time-saver. When not in use, the whip stores right in the bowl, ready for its next use.
