Cleaning and Maintenance• Unplug the unit from electrical outlet and wait for unit to cool before cleaning.
• Use the cleaning tool to remove any leftover food from the grilling plates. Wash the cleaning tool by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Dispose of grease from drip cup. The drip cup is dishwasher-safe or can be washed by hand.
• If you've cooked seafood, wipe the grill plates with lemon juice to prevent seafood flavoring from transferring to the next recipe.
• To clean exterior, wipe with a soft dry cloth. For tough stains, dampen cloth. Never use an abrasive cleanser or harsh pad.
• Important: Never immerse cord, plug, or unit in water or other liquid.
• Never use metal utensils on the nonstick plates. To prevent scratching the plates, use only wooden or heatproof plastic utensils.
