Cleaning
• Before cleaning, turn off the coffee machine and remove the plug from the outlet. Do not clean the coffee machine when it is hot. Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid or place unit under running water.
• Do not use scouring agents or harsh cleansers on any part of the coffee machine.
• Clean the body of the coffee machine with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry before storing.
• Remove water reservoir, brew cup, drip tray with grate and brew basket from unit. Dispose of used coffee grounds or pods. Wash pieces with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly, or clean in the upper rack of the dishwasher.
• Do not dry the inside of the water reservoir with a cloth or lint may remain.
• Ideally, the piston should be cleaned twice a month. Easy-to-follow instructions are included in the instruction manual.
• For best performance of your coffee maker, decalcify the base unit from time to time. The frequency depends on the hardness of your tap water and how often you use the coffee maker. Easy-to-follow instructions are included in the instruction manual.
