Cleaning and Maintenance
• Never use metal utensils on the nonstick plates. To prevent scratching the plates, use only wooden or heatproof plastic utensils.
• Before cleaning, unplug the unit from electrical outlet and wait for unit to cool.
• Slide the drip tray out from the base and dispose of its contents. The drip tray is dishwasher-safe or can be washed by hand.
• Use the cleaning scraper to remove any leftover food from the cooking plates. Do not use metallic objects or a scouring pad to clean the plates. These items can damage the nonstick coating.
• The cooking plates are dishwasher-safe.
• To clean exterior, wipe with a soft dry cloth. For tough stains, dampen cloth. Never use an abrasive cleanser or harsh pad.
• Important: Never immerse cord, plug or unit in water or other liquid.
