This is the only stand mixer I will use.
I love the Kitchen Aid Brand stand mixers. I purchased this one to replace mine of 13 years that my mother and sister had bought me for Christmas in 1997. It was a refurbished one that they had bought for me, and I replaced it with the same one as I have extra parts for that size I have acumulated over the years.

This purchase may end up on a few Christmas gift lists. Our family loves to cook and show off their skills and braggin rights. They should know that I the leader of the pack.

Best Gift I ever received!!
I received my mixer 7 years ago for Christmas. This has been the best thing ever to grace my kitchen. It is super easy to use and makes the process of baking easy and fun. I love it and think everyone should get one because you will love it too.

Getting It Right
After years of getting oversized scarfs and one size fits all Christmas presents, my husband finally got it right. He bought me a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer, and I love it. Fast, efficient and fun, now my chocolate, buttermilk and cream cheese pound cakes are a breeze to make and highly requested by my "not ever" dieting friends and neighbors. I just love it, love it and so does everyone else.

An extra hand in baking
This product is especially helpful for me around christmas when I do over 13 different kinds of cookies. It is so easy to use, you can walk away and do other things while it mixes away. It is easy to clean and has been my saving grace when it comes to baking. I look foward to purchasing more attachments to use, it is the best, most trusted name in baking, I wouldn't trade it for anything!

A wonderful gift to recceive
I received my 5 quart mixer as a Christmas gift a few years back and I now wonder, why did I use my very old mixer for as many years as I did.. I love the bowl that lifts as it is stationary, you can put your ingredients in the nice deep bowl, walk away and do something else and get back to your mixing and it is done. The beaters do a great job of keeping the sides of bowl clean of built up batter. I convinced my daughter, daughter in law and niece to include this on their wish list when they were married. I also added the ice cream maker at a later date. What a great idea.

What a Kitchen Aide
We finally broke open my husband's gift from last year to make the gingerbread men. Every year getting the kids to help mix in seven cups of sifted flour is a challenge. Keep in mind kids and flour. This may have been my husband's gift but I needed an alternative to vacuuming the stovetop to clean out the flying flour. What a product! It got the job done with no powdered puppies at the end. Making gingerbread men has been a family tradition and who was I to break it. This product has enabled us to continue it and keep the tradition cleaner.

Baking Pleasure
This model replaced the four year old mixer that I gave my wife for our 12th anniversary. We noticed that the bowl is more narrow than the old Pro 5 series and that is a good thing as it reduces the torque load on the motor when mixing thick batter or bread dough. We also noticed that it does not have an anti splash start, but that does not seem to matter as the first speed stirs slow enough not to splash anything out of the bowl. So far, from mixing thick batter to whipping stiff peaks this new model has been quieter and quicker than the previous model. We are very happy with our new addition.
