Cleaning and Maintenance
• Wash the urn thoroughly prior to first use. Always unplug the coffee urn from the electrical outlet and allow urn to cool before cleaning.
• Remove cover, coffee basket and pump tube carefully as grounds and remaining coffee may still be warm.
• Wash coffee urn with water and detergent and rinse thoroughly. Never immerse base in water.
• The cover, basket and pump tube may be washed on the top rack of dishwasher.
• With the coffee urn's repeated use, accumulated oil and coffee stains may cause a bitter taste.
• To clean the sight glass tube, remove the sight glass cap and pull out the tube. Remove the rubber end caps. Fill tube with water and some liquid detergent and then scrub tube with the included brush. Rinse thoroughly.
