I've gone through a number of cheap egg slicers, they are all now recycled. This is the one to get. Each part of it works perfectly. It is bigger than the cheap ones, but it's not really bulky, you can readily find a place for it. The only thing to watch for is that pieces of egg can get caught on the "platform" for dicing, so you want to be careful when cleaning to make sure it's cleaned out.
