Good for Sugar too!
I find that most sugar bowls have no opening for a spoon. I like a covered sugar bowl with a spoon. I had a Pfaltzgraff jelly pot with the opening for a spoon, for many years. This salt/cheese server is the perfect answer. The spoon is the right size for a serving of sugar. The glass bowl can be removed for washing. The price was good too!

SALT/CHEESE SERVER
I HAD BEEN KEEPING KOSHER SALT IN A SUGAR BOWL AND ACCIDENTLY PUT SALT IN MY COFFEE. I NEEDED SOMETHING THAT WOULD SHOW THAT IT WAS OBVIOUSLY SALT NOT SUGAR. THIS CONTAINER IS SO CONVENIENT SINCE IT HAS THE SPOON.

elegant
I purchased two of these as Christmas gifts for my parents - one to use for coarse salt and the other for raw sugar. They look great sitting out on the counter instead of the open bowls that they were using. They are elegant yet very practical. I liked them so much that I'm thinking about getting one for my sea salt.

very classy
I bought 2. One I'll probably use on the table for salt, and the other maybe for sugar for my husbands coffee.
It looks very european. Fits to most of my "stuff" now, since I got a lot of steel going lately.
Glass looks very durable! Easy to clean.

chefs.com
I have purchased many items from Chefs.com and have always been pleased. They deliver their product on time and it always looks just like the catalogue picture which is unusual as most companies enhance the pictures. Chefs.com carriers only high quality products at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend Chefs.Com to all new cooks and seasoned ones too!
