A beautiful crust design every time
This product will produce a beautiful pie top with one press. It also cuts the edges for a standard pie. I usually make oversize pies by putting the crust on top of the cutter and pressing the pie dough into the center design. This leaves the pattern in oversized crust. Then, take the heart or apple cutouts and add them to back on the top for a 3D effect. This is a must have for everyone that bakes pies.

These tools make very nice professional looking pie crust design in minutes but looks as though you spent an hour(s) doing detail cut out work.

My new pie crust toy
I love this item, before I had to cut decorations out of another piece of crust and place them on top. Now I can do it in one step, the decorations are cut out of the top crust and when it is placed on the pie I can use the cut outs to decorate.

W;hat a waste
I gave thes two items to grand kids to play with. They were totaly useless. The cut outs are way to big and makes for flimsy crust. DO NOT BUY

Not exactly what I was expecting
I've only used these once, but it did not go so well. There is a ridge around the edge that is deeper than my crust is thick so eventhough I pressed very hard, I had to trace over the design with a knife. When the pie apples shrunk (as they will do) my design turned into a big unrecognizable mess. I guess I was thinking that they were flexible like silicone but the hard plastic ridge around the edge is unforgiving. It is a great idea but the execution is a little off. It would probably work better on a cherry pie where shrinkage isn't a problem.
I was disappointed.
