Finally a large wooden spoon.
I like to use wooden spoons when stirring something cooking on the stove. This spoon is large enough to stir risotto or the thickest soups.

Complements the kitchen
I would highly recommend this useful utensil for stirring stews, sauces, gumbo, and especially for stirring a roux without scratching the pot.

Beautiful Craftsmanship
Money well spent to purchase a piece that embodies the idea of craftsmanship in cooking implements. I was tired of seeing inferior products in retail outlets. I was pleased that Chefs offers such quality products.

Lasting Beauty!
I purchased this set in February 2008. It is November 2008 and my utensil set still looks as beautiful as it did when I first received it! I use them every day for each meal that I prepare and afterwards they are washed in lukewarm, soapy water, dried, and oiled with a dab of olive oil. There is no splitting of the wood or discoloration, even after all the use that they get in my kitchen. This is definitely a set worth every penny and with care, will last indefinitely. Highly recommended for the cook who wants quality and durability together!

Excellent utensils!
These are simply beautiful, especially the largest spoon. The olive wood is very nice and I would highly recommend this set. I use mine all the time. Care is easy. I wash them in hot water and soap, then rinse and dry immediately. I, then, oil them and lay them out to absorb the oil before putting them away. Highly recommended!

Thin
The wood is quite thin and light weight. I thought I ordered the spoon, so was disappointed with the spatula. Since the spatula is thin, I will not order the spoon.

Very easy in your hand
I was skeptical at first, but I love these new implements, they are very streamlined, comfortable in your hand and wash up beautifully.
