This peeler really is perfect! It tackles butternut squash with ease. To me, that alone makes it well worth the money.

The name fits
It is truly the perfect peeler. I have been watching professional chefs use this and wanted to try. Wow. I will never use another peeler.

Favorite Peeler
The peeler with the ceramic blade really works. Hold it like a razor, or turn the head and use it like a slicer, either way, it peels. Eggplant, carrots, potatoes -- this peeler makes the task EASY!

Perfect for pealing potatoes
Great for pealing potatoes! Waste is minimal and it is very easy to use. Much quicker than pealing with knife. I have not tried on anything else yet but I'm sure it will work just fine.

Great Peeler
Great peeler, very sturdy and very sharp. Doesn't hurt my hand to peel lots of veggies, good for almost anything.

Great peeler... while it lasts
Great peeler when you talk about comfort, adjustment, or sharpness. One major drawback, if you do not baby things like this, and I do not, it can break. I didn't chip the blade, the ceramic blade is actually quite sturdy, but the small ends that fit into the notch on the swivel head are tiny. It apparently doesn't take much to break one off. And if one breaks off, like mine did, it renders this peeler useless.

Nice peeler
I am from the dark ages and got this to replace my very old standard potato peeler. When I first used it the blade popped out but I put it back in and it's been fine since. Took a bit for me to get used to the "floating" blade, but once I did it was great. A bit hard to use on bumpy potatoes, but it would be the same with any peeler. It cuts very thin slices which I love so you don't lose half the food in the peeling process. And it's easy to wash.
