Best specialized set
This set of three knives is only produced in the classic series by wusthof, but as the base of the blade is as thin as the the rest of the knife blade, it can be sharpened entirely just like the more expensive ikon series. Each knife performs its specialized function with ease and holds up to everyday use. The parmesan knife works just as well for all hard grating cheeses, either to break apart a wedge or just for slicing for eating. I bought all three at the same time to save money, and I would highly recommend this set as a special gift or just to complete your own classic collection for cheese enthusiasts.

Great Soft Cheese knife
The knife is a really nice addition to my cheese knife set. It is very sharpe and has the feel of a high quality product. Plus it looks really great.

Wonderful!
I purchased both the 'Hard Cheese' & 'Soft Cheese' knives to go with the Wusthof set my husband purchsed a few months ago. All the Wusthof knives are a pleasure to use & the cheese knives are a fun addition to the set!

Great Parmesan Knife
I've never been dissatisfied with a Wusthof purchase, and this is no exception. Finally I own a knife that makes cutting the hardest cheeses like butter...and safer for one's fingers since there is no struggle!

A Trio Of Winners
Even if you're mildly interested in cheese, do yourself a big favor and buy the entire set of 3 knives and cutting board. I use the soft-cheese knife (with holes) for slicing through everything from cream cheese bricks to a chub of breakfast sausage. The Parmesan knife is divine for the the most problematic Parmesans, while the hard cheese knife has practical applications for many foods other than hard cheese. The forked tip is a big bonus, too. Wusthof certainly went first-class all the way by making sure the cutting board is bamboo and not a lesser wood. Chefs Illustrated recommends bamboo for cutting boards, and these nifty knives deserve the best.

Must have cheese knife
If you entertain or like to serve cheese then you need a good cheese knife. We like good quality knifes and have found the Wusthof knifes a great value. The shape of the handle works great for small and large hands. The holes in the blade allow it to cut the soft cheeses with out becoming stuck to the cheese.
