This Steamer Has It All!
Firstly, I'm a successfully retired male, married to a lovely lady for 26 years, and I enjoy cooking as a hobby now that I have the time to indulge!
In my opinion, Joyce Chen products are the very best of the Asian cookware available in the U.S. market.
I use a Joyce Chen covered wok which has given us countless tasty, healthy, freshly-prepared stir-fry meals.
I also have a large set of Joyce Chen bamboo stirring and turning tools which never scratch, don't conduct heat, are very durable, and never impart a plastic or metallic aftertaste to the food.
Now I've added my Joyce Chen Steamer which is great! It has a glass lid to let you see your progress, not one but two steamer insets which are large and easily hold whatever you want to steam, like corn, cha siu bao, fish, hot dogs, etc. We sometimes steam the buns on the top level and the hot dogs on the lower level at the same time!
The steamer is very durable and well-made, and the handles are insulated to prevent burning your hands. The 6-quart pot is also very versatile and can be used for soups, pastas, cooking Italian meals, just about anything your cooking imagination will allow.
You can not miss with this multiple level, generously-sized steamer! We have exiled no less than four other steamers, colanders and pots to our garage because this handy pot can do it all!

Awesome Steamer
I only serve steamed, fresh vegetables. A single steamer with a family of 6 is insufficient.
I love being able to steam a few things at once.
Steaming 1 item at time left too much for time for foods to cool off and get soggy.
I have been recommending this item,to all of my friends since I received it

Wonderful, purchase.
This steamer can be used for seafood, vegetables and a food warmer. Its multi-functional use more than makes up for the price because it eliminates the need for additional steamers.

Great steamer!
This is the best steamer ever! I've used it for fish, vegetables, lobster and crab legs so far. The two levels let me get vegetables ready at the same time as the entree'. It's large enough to create four servings of everything at once. I was disappointed that Chef's did not provide some cooking time guidelines with it or maybe some recipes, however you can find those fairly easily on the Internet. Overall, very pleased.

This steamer was one of my best purchases ever!
I use this steamer at least four times a week. Not only does it steam vegetables well, but it also makes reheating various foods at the same time a breeze. All elements of the steamer clean up easily. I had used a bamboo steamer set for years--the bamboo would darken, harden and even burn over time--but there are no such problems with this steamer. I strongly recommend it!

Very helpful for healthy eating
I just purchased the 3 tier steamer, and I am enjoying using it to steam cauliflower and broccoli and also for warming left overs. I also like it because it is lightweight, easy to use and easy to clean up. I think it is going to be one of my favorite pans in my kitchen.

Wonderfully Versatile -- My New Favorite
This steamer was bought to replace a large single steamer I had previously. This 3-Tier steamer is now my new favorite which allows me to steam 2 different vegetables (or fish & vegetable) at the same time and also gives me a colander for straining and a nice size stockpot. I live alone and may only use one steamer basket but frequently host famly events and the 2 steamer baskets allow plenty of room to steam enough corn on the cob or other vegetables for the group. When I was searching for a new steamer most of those offered were those that fit into smaller saucepans. If you're looking for a larger and very versatile steamer/stockpot I highly recommend this Joyce Chen 3-Tier Steamer.

Good steamer
Like the ability to steam 2 different foods at the same time. The wide base is nice so the food cooks evenly. Corn on the cob fits perfectly. Like the clear lid so you can see the food. One negative is that it spits water out onto the cooktop.
