Specifications

• Small: 18" L x 12" W x 1 1/2"H
• Medium: 20" L x15" W x 1 1/2" H

Care and Use

• Keep your Boos cutting board clean by simply washing it with hot soapy water after each use and dry it with a clean paper towel or let it air dry.
• To sanitize the board more thoroughly, use a diluted mixture of chlorine bleach or vinegar solution consisting of one teaspoon of liquid chlorine bleach in one quart of water or a one to five dilution of vinegar.
• Do not soak or submerge the board in water, for this will disrupt the moisture content and cause the rails to split.
• Wood cutting boards are NOT dishwasher safe.
• It is extremely important to give your cutting board a good oiling on all surfaces every 3-4 weeks. Your Boos Board shipped from the factory with a penetrating oil finish which allows for great cutting, chopping, and slicing. We recommend keeping the board oiled with John Boos Mystery Oil or a natural mineral oil. When the cutting board becomes dry and lighter in color, you know that the time has come to re-oil your board. With a minimum amount of care and maintenance, you can lengthen the life of your Boos Board by many years.

This one will last many years! This Boos Cutting Board is a beautifully built piece of kitchen equipment that will last many years. I am a big fan of hard maple, it is an incredibly dense and heavy wood that is perfectly suited for top notch cutting boards. It does not slide around while cutting or pounding. Only suggestion is they should include the dressing oil with the board. Make sure you order the oil when you order. March 19, 2013

My Favorite Christmas Present We love to cook in our family, and when I received this as a gift from my husband, I immediately put it to use. The size is ample enough for any normal kitchen job, and the surface is perfect for cutting and chopping. Treating this wood brings out the beauty and quality of it.
