great tool for kitchen
loved the slight curve to handle so you don't get burned. and meatal handel and basket a plus. old one was wooden and lasted only 2 years this should last a long time.Very pleased with the sevice and the product.

perfect tool!
I use skimmers for all kinds of things, from vegetables to pasta to straining stock. It's as useful, necessary for me as a cutting board and a great knife!

The REAL DEAL
I have been looking for a new skimmer since my old wooden one with a wire basket has seen better days. I could not believe the quality of this item: all stainless steel with a super long handle. Thanks,it's everything I needed. It is perfect.

Big scooping at last!
A straining spoon that fits in my utensil jar, has a bowl that's not bigger that my pot diameter & a handle that won't give me splinters! It scoops more than twice what a slotted utility spoon can hold so you get pick up more than 2 ravioli at a time or keep the gravy juices in the Dutch oven for thickening while you scoop out the roast & veggies to the platter. A definite must-have for any cook who braises, fries or boils.
A non-metal 'twin' for non-stick pans needs to be addressed ASAP so I can buy that, too! (A slightly shallower bowl design would be nice.)

You can buy one of these less expensive elsewhere but not of this excellent materials and construction. Everybody needs one. Spend a little more and only ever buy this one

Very handy
My son the cook for the family told me he needed this and he was right. He fried potatoes in his wok right away and it was exactly the correct tool.

Great tool
This tool is great for working with food in large pots. If you only have a small pot, purchase the smaller skimmer and you will be happy with the product.
