Great knife
This Ikon knife finished off my Ikon collection. I wasn't sure "i needed it." However, it is one of the most used in my Ikon collection. Love the handles on this collection. When I purchase my first Ikon I mentioned to the sales person how comfortable the Ikon handles were. The next time I saw him he told me that he had potential buyers hold a Ikon by the handle and that had increased his sales. Love shopping at Chef's no sales taxes, fast and often free shipping.

Is this knife great or what?!
The weight was lighter than I expected and fhe handle makes for a great grasp. It cuts right through subs and paninis and the price for this top of the line made it an even better choice.

Clearly reflects your culinary knowledge and class
I have never handled the personal knives of
professional chefs. But I will say this is the finest
knife I have ever seen or owned. I was 100% pleased
when I opened the package. No, I was tickled pink !
This will last for several lifetimes. In the long run a
true value.

I LOVE this knife! The first one I got had been damaged in shipping with a slightly bent tip. Being a perfectionist, I used the return label provided from CHEFS and went to my nearest UPS store - what an easy return! Finally, I had a perfect replacement in about 2 weeks.
This 'baby' CUTS! From hard-crust sandwiches to perfectly cooked salmon filets in exact portions - no jagged edges and just the serving portions I'm after. Lastly, it has the perfect balance and weight that you would expect of Wusthof Classic Ikon - its a wonderful addition to my knives and kitchen.

Item received did not resemble photos other items
I use Wusthof knives only. When purchasing the Deli Knife the knife received did not have the same handle (as shown in photos) as the other classic knives on the sales catalog insert. It would have been better to show the "exception" as a representative photo so as to allay any confusion on the buyers part. I had to call customer service and seek an exchange for the knife...getting the one which had its photo displayed on the page (for $30 less). Appreciate your excellent return policy and look forward to receiving the replacement knife...disappointed though that I will not have the knife for Christmas dinner use. You are an excellent company...just wish I hadn't made this mistake...perhaps you could have been more clear [is all].
