Use and Care
Before first use: wash in hot, soapy water with a sponge or dishcloth. Rinse and towel dry. Season the nonstick surface with a light application of cooking oil.
High heat is never required because of the high thermal conductivity. Start with medium heat and reduce to low heat if required.
Swiss Diamond cookware is oven-safe up to 500 degrees F. The handles will get hot in the oven, so always use pot holders when removing heated pans.
Cookware is safe for metal utensils. Do avoid chopping or cutting food in the pan. Never use an electric beater in the pan.
Although the cookware may be cleaned in the dishwasher, we recommend washing cookware by hand to prevent the dishwasher's harsh, caustic cleaners from reducing the pans' nonstick performance over time. Simply wash cookware in hot, sudsy water. Do not use abrasives cleaners, oven cleaners or scouring pads.
To maintain the attractive appearance and cooking efficiency of the cookware, it is important to clean pans thoroughly after each use. If not properly cleaned, a thin layer of food particles or grease may become carbonized when reheated and cause food to stick.
When storing cookware and nesting pans on top of the other, place a paper towel between each pan.
