Fabulous, easy baking!
Nigella presents recipes that the home cook can execute with success and look like a pro. For example, a dense, moist chocolate loaf cake that is divine and fool proof. It can even be made ahead and still taste perfect.......drizzle some caramel sauce on the side and voila'!!!!

I want to like this book but.....
The title alone intrigues me, I like the idea of being a :"Domestic Goddess." But every time I sit down to read or research with it, I find myself picking up some other cookbooks. (Us cookbook addicts, have WAY TO MANY.)
Some drawbacks, this was written by one of England's most popular cooks. There are some ingredients that aren't that well known in the US, such as self-rising cake flour. Also, in doing some research on this book, this is great debate as to how well the translation from English measurements to American went. Apparently the black cover is the English version and the white cover the American. There are many claims that there are lots of mistakes.
The pros, gorgeous pictures, lots of notes from Nigella, and
over 220 recipes that sound delicious.
