"I searched, reviewed and looked at toaster, convection ovens for about a year. When I saw the smart oven I knew that it was what I had been looking for. The size is excellent for counter tops. The quality of this oven surpasses all of the others I had looked at. It is large enough to fit muffin pans, caserole dishes and roasting pans. It cooks food without heating up the kitchen. It toasts perfectly, both sides toasted. With its multiple settings, it can be programed for exactly what you are going to cook. I love it and highly recommend it ."

"Although I had to do much research to justify the price tag I found it to be worth every penny spent. This appliance is our all time favorite because it not only performs well, it is made well and thoughtfully designed. When people come over I am sure to give them a demonstration to educate them on how quality matters. How many toaster ovens have we been through over the years that have done less than adequent performances, not to mention that there are so many fire hazards under the heading toaster oven. Cleaning is very easy and manageable, always keeping the oven new and fresh in appearance.I have baked cakes and cookies to perfection without heating up the entire kitchen with our large oven. This is one choice I have no regrets about and marvel at the convenience and excellent performance. It is on my list to give my Daughter and Son for Christmas.If I could afford it I would give it to all the people I love and care about. That is a real testimony as to how I feel about my Breville toaster oven."

"After a l*o*n*g search for a counter top oven (forget toaster oven - I wanted a small oven that baked well), I purchased this Breville Smart Oven. Right out of the box I was impressed at how beautifully built it was and how nice it looked on the counter. The controls are straightforward; the blue backlight is pleasing to the eye.
So far, I have baked cakes, Italian bread, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, quiche, fish, roasted chicken breasts, pasta and banana breads (it can fit two loaf pans at once), reheated a multitude of foods all with perfect results. It holds a full size Bundt pan with no issue and bakes the cake perfectly. I love the fact I can use pans I already have as it has such a large interior.
I haven't used my stove oven since I bought this little oven and I cook and bake with it almost daily. I find myself baking more often because of this terrific gadget - I used to be put off more often than not by the thought of firing up my big oven to make a batch of brownies.
It would have been nice to have an interior light but that small fact doesn't dim my love for this thing.
It is an energy efficient little oven. It heats up quick and cooks effectively. I love the fact I am saving energy using the Breville instead of the stove oven. This is the third Breville product I have purchased with great satisfaction. I cannot say enough about this oven. It is worth every cent I paid for it. Fantastic product. Stop reading and buy it. You won't be disappointed.

"I bought the Smart oven as a good alternative to heating up the "big" oven. I made two 9" loafs of banana bread the other day and used the Smart oven. They came out great. I'm looking forward to using the oven for more recipes in the future."
