Use and Care
• Use ONLY Nespresso Coffee Capsules
• Do not immerse the machine in water or place it in the dishwasher.
• Wipe the machine's surface clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild cleaning agent. Never use abrasive cleaners or objects to the clean the machine.
• For daily cleaning, empty water residue and empty capsules and rinse. When drip tray level indicator is showing, remove and empty grid and rinse it clean. Remove, empty and rinse the water tank. The water tank and its lid are not dishwasher-safe. Remove side panels' grid to wipe the panels clean. To rinse the pipes, insert hot water nozzle and press either Lungo or hot water button (without capsule inside).
• To descale the machine, follow the directions in the instruction manual and on the descaling package. The descaling solution can be harmful. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and machine surfaces. Do not use vinegar as it can damage your machine.
• If you do not use the machine for a long time, it is necessary to empty the machine. Liquids may freeze and damage the machine. First, empty the water tank. Next, press the cappuccino and espresso buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. The machine will enter the emptying mode and when the process is finished, the machine switches to standby mode.
