To Last A Lifetime
LeCreuset is so durable, you could will it to future generations. It's very heavy so I like these smaller bakers. Even if you need to bake a lot, dividing between four of these small bakers reduces cook time, makes leftovers easy to handle, and they can be spread across the table to avoid passing plates or a large dish. I love them.

Made in China
You would think that anything with the name "Le Creuset" on it would be made in France, right? Isn't that what you are expecting and paying for? I was quite disappointed that this was made in China. Not that I have anything against the Chinese...I own plenty of other products that are made there, but I think this is rather misleading. That being said, I returned the dish because it was really too small for my needs. I ended up buying (at a much higher cost, of course) the 14" Le Creuset Oval Gratin baking dish, which is enameled cast iron and Made in France, for real. Always look at the description before you buy to see where it is made, if that is important to you.

This is a good looking casserole dish.
I am proud to serve my recipe to present to guests in this oval baker. The recipe cooked evenly Heat retention is outstanding. I know it will last my life time! It is easy to store as it stacks with some smaller bakers that I have. One of my favorite things is the ease of cleaning baked on food. It is a great value for the money. A beautiful baker!

Great!
Loved this Baker - perfect size for so many dishes in our family. Made a potato casserole the first time & a bourbon corn casserole next... wonderful & cleaned up easy.

fabulous for the busy cook
....these dishes are fabulous because they can go from the freezer, to refrigerator, to microwave interchangeably. GREAT for the chef that wants to flash freeze prepared entrees, that can be defrosted and served on a moments notice directly to the table with "professional-style" and classy presentation.
