Required for a proper cup of tea
We were heating water in the microwave to make hot drinks. Don't know why, but this kettle does the job so much better, even if it does take a bit longer. Lovely to look at, too.

Just what I wanted!
I love this tea kettle - perfect size, wonderful color, looks great on the stove. It puts me in a good mood just to look at it and it works beautifully.

Just what I was looking for
The shape/design is very attractive/tight fitting lid/ great color/ (caribbean) not too heavy and the handle is easy on the hand.

Classic Tea Kettle
This is a handsome, sturdy kettle with a nice, strong whistle.
It replaced some other, shoddier kettles with wimpy whistles.

A great replacement
I replaced a cheaper enameled kettle because the handle was not coated and always too hot. The color of the new one is pretty, the handle is great, the whistle so loud (in a good way) that we hear it everywhere in the house and it heats very quickly.

Pretty and functional.
I chose the cherry colored one, it's pretty and the whistle works great. The handle could be sturdier, I've had to tighten the screw that holds the handle to the kettle a couple of times. I like the tight lid, no chance of it falling off when pouring.

A great little kettle
I bought this because of the styling and must say that it lives up to expectations. Fits in nicely with my kitchen decor and is not out of place on the cook top during the day. It functions well and seems well made. Previous kettles have not had the whistle, so it will take a little getting used to its call. The lid sits tightly, not like my previous kettle which had a lid that could fall out when pouring steaming water into a cup.
