Great purchase
My son received a set of steak knives for Christmas, and this was perfect for storing the knives safely and conveniently. It fits perfectly into our caboinet drawer.

Perfect for our needs
We ordered the in-drawer knife block since we did not want to have a regular, large block taking up counterspace. We had recently installed new granite countertops but wanted to be able to use all our countertop space for other things besides storing knives. Since we had wonderful drawer space and not too many knives, this was ideal. I would recommend this to others who need space for a few knives and would prefer not to clutter their countertops.

Drawer knife block, 7 slot.
This knife "block" is nicely made of lovely natural wood. Seven knives stow easily into the tiniest of spaces. I love having my counter top free of the old large knife block I had previously! My kitchen feels so organized. This block fit perfectly into a drawer that is only 5" wide and had never been used for anything but junk. Cool!

Great in-drawer storage for knives
I have another knife block to keep my "everyday" knives, but for my really good, sharp knives, I have them safely tucked away in a drawer. I believe this block will keep the blades sharp as other things in the drawer will not be knocking against them, and it keeps the blade stored safely away, so when I reach into the drawer, I'm not going to slice my hand. I love this for my very special knives.
