This product did not perform as described. No way did this product give the temperature in 3 seconds!! It took much longer, was not accurate, and it was heavy and awkward to use. This item was returned! February 3, 2012

WOW, we love this thermometer! I bought this as a birthday gift for my son since he's always calling me to ask what temperature meats should be cooked to and he once had under-done chicken and it made him sick and overly cautious! It works great and we love that it has the meat cooking temps on the side...very nice! I brined a chicken to bake recently and my cheap thermometer kept reading that it was under-done...I had my son bring this one over and it popped that temp up so fast and accurately that it took me 2 weeks to give this great thermometer back to him :) Now he knows what to get me for MY birthday!
