The ultimate in hands-free mixing and baking preparation is here. New patented BeaterBlade+ "wing-system" design acts like a wiper blade that continuously scrapes the sides and bottom of the bowl while it mixes. Virtually eliminating hand scraping and batter build-up, thus, cutting your mixing time by as much as 50%. When you're done mixing, BeaterBlade+ is also a spatula!

KA-THR will work with any KitchenAid 4.5 and 5 quart tilt-head mixer. KA-6LR will work with any 6 quart or 5 Plus bowl-lift mixer. KA-5LR will work with KitchenAid 5-Quart bowl lift mixers.

Care and Use
Beater blades are top-rack dishwasher-safe. Use a bottle brush to clean inside of neck. Not recommended for bread dough, extra-thick cookie dough and some frozen foods. If batter becomes too thick while beating, revert to your traditional flat beater.

This product works very well. This beater blade improves the performance of the KitchenAid mixer by scraping the bowl cleanly, something the standard beater blade does not do. May 1, 2012

I bought this product last week and have used it once. I was really excited about getting it, then was disappointed at first because of the blade being plastic instead of metal like I assumed it would be. That said, I was happy with the overall performance when I did use it, no more stopping the mixer to scrape down the bowl! In my opinion it would work better if it were metal, I thought it was too light, my tilt head mixer kept jumping up and down, I had to flip the lock switch and it still kept moving...and I was whipping up a cake batter, nothing too heavy. so overall I'm happy with it, but would give it 5 stars if it were more heavy duty, for the price it should be heavier. This blade does everything promised! I'm so happy not to have to scrape the sides, or find unblended ingredients hiding at the bottom of the bowl. I cannot believe it took me this long to find this blade! March 20, 2012
