Use and Care
• Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or any other liquid. Do not run the griddle under water or any other liquid.
• Ensure that the griddle is unplugged and has cooled down before starting to clean it. Do not pour cold water onto the griddle while it is hot. Included cleaning spatula may melt if left on a warm griddle.
• To preserve the nonstick surface, do not use metal utensils.
• Do not overheat the griddle, this may cause brown or blue marks to appear on the stainless-steel housing.
• Do not leave anything on or near the griddle that may melt when the unit is heated.
• If the water used to clean the appliance contains a high amount of iron this may cause the griddle to corrode.
• The removable splatter guard and drip tray are dishwasher-safe.
• Clean the grilling plate with a sponge and household detergent after pushing any residue into the drainage slot using the included spatula.
• Never use oven cleaner or products containing chlorine or bleach. Do not use harsh detergents or steel wool or steel scouring pads.
• To clean the griddle exterior, polish using a stainless-steel cleaner approved for household cooking appliances. Follow the polish's cleaning instructions, then rinse the outside of the griddle with a sponge.
