The Taylor Connoisseur Microwave Thermometer is a microwave-safe thermometer for use in the microwave, to check the temperature while food is cooking or heating. Microwave temperatures and cooking times vary so dramatically, there really has not been an accurate way to gauge the temperature of foods - until now. Simply use the pointed sheath to pierce the thickest part of food. Then unscrew the sheath and insert the thermometer into the pierced hole. See an exact reading, from 100-200 degrees Fahrenheit. Optimum cooking temperatures for ham, egg dishes, meat, pork, poultry, even leftovers are on both sides of the gauge for instant reference. Hand wash.
