Great Value for an Awesome Product
Very sturdy. Confident I will have for many years to come.

Why did it take so long?
Finally, a colander I can use for everything!
No more losing spaghetti through the holes.
Why did it take so long for someone to think of something this simple? Smaller holes, but a lot more of them.
I'll still keep my hand-held strainers, but the old round SS colander is gone.
America's Test Kitchen recommended a round model by the same manufacturer, but this one that straddles the sink is much easier and more sanitary to use.

great gift
I bought this to give to one of my daughters for her birthday. She loves it and has already used it a lot.

Works Wonderfully
I used to have a silicon sided collander that would mash mash for storage. However, the silicon side gave out and let a pot full of spagetti fal into the sink. I dare this one to do that!!

Better than my old colander
I bought this because cooked spaghetti would always get through the holes in my old colander. It works very well for that. I still have to be careful with dry rice if I want to rinse it before cooking. At least it holds most of it in and I don't find a lot of rice grains in the sink.

Poorly made
This item arrived with one of the welds broken--seemed to be poorly made. We sent it back.

Handy Sink Strainer
I love this over-the-sink strainer! It holds small items, it's well made and easy to clean, and now I don't make a mess trying to drain vegetables on paper towels on my counter. I have a large sink and the extenders fit it perfectly, and the rubber on the handles keeps it where I put it.
