clever idea that really works This is just one of the cleverest ideas I've seen in awhile. You might ask yourself, "Do I really need another baking sheet?" The answer is, "Yes you do, and this is it!" I've used it so far for fries, and for pizza. Both came out evenly browned. The non-stick surface is a breeze to clean. My only caution would to to perhaps reduce the oven temp or the baking time. It works that well. July 30, 2012

Really helps us to enjoy french fries again I was amazed at how crisp frozen fries were. We also had some frozen fried cod. So crisp and juicy. We can't eat a lot o grease anymore, so this is great., and so little clean-up. Thanks for a great product. June 6, 2012

great product It browns french fries or oven fried chicken nicely with a good crust. It just wipes clean. The only problem I had was that it is soooo non stick that if you don;t take it out of the oven level all the french fries flew off onto the bottom of the oven. LOL June 4, 2012

Love these pans! We bought 2 of these pans and have used these items for 3 weeks in both households. Fries are crispy and cook evenly, no turning required, clean up is easy, nothing sticks and you don't have to hold the pan at an awkword angle to transfer the fries into a serving dish. Instructions for this pan

I just got my pan and not sure how it is to be used. Do I put a cookie sheet under it if I have food that can leak liquid? Is this only for frozen food? If I for instance did chicken wings that had a sauce, wouldn't the liquids leak onto the oven? If it needed a lower pan, why wouldn't one be sold with it. Definitely needs an instruction booklet. Please advise.

This is a Nonstick French Fry Baking Sheet. Beyond french fries, this bakes any BREADED food in the oven to a light crispy texture: fish sticks and fillets, shrimp tempura, chicken sticks or wings (before the sauce is added). Use this perforated pan to make healthy homemade potato chips, croutons, and easily roast vegetables, larger nuts and seeds without turning. Beyond that, you will just want to follow the instructions of the particular item or package you are working from. I suggest that for the saucier items, you will want to make a different choice of pan, such as a normal baking sheet. But this pan is designed for french fries and drier, breaded items.

What temp and how long should we cook these french fries?

We need some instructions so we can have some idea of temperature and time involved for cooking french fries. We don't all use frozen food. Some of us cook from scratch.

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. (pan is heat safe to 500 degrees.)

2. Wash the potatoes. Cut them into pieces about 1/4 inch wide on each side. (The smaller the fries, the quicker they will cook.)

3. Spread the potatoes on the bottom of the pan in one layer. Season to taste.

4. Place pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until the potatoes are slightly browned. After about 15 minutes, use a long-handled wooden spoon or spatula to mix up the fries and separate them from each other.
NOTE: You can toss the potatoes before you bake them in a very little oil to help them brown -but it is not necessary.
