pastry roller
l love this pastry roller - I have had one for years and am purchasing this as a gift for my daughter who loves to bake. It is a perfect size for pastry, cookies and pizza dough and I am so pleased to find the wooden roller from CHEF's. This is a must have for the baker's kitchen.

Works loike a charm!
I just baked a dessertt with a shortbread base. The roller let me spread the dough perfectly into the corners, and leveled the dough perfectly. I will try it next on my Chicago-Style Deep dIsh Pizza, and I anticipate the same results!

Uniform pastry layer: thick or thin! Versatile.
Tremendously useful tool for pizza dough and, would you believe, home-made communion wafers?! This tool enables you to roll out a thin layer of dough on the baking sheet - thinner than pie crust - a layer that would normally be too thin to lift off a dough-rolling-mat without tearing it. It also is small enough to roll pizza dough uniformly to the edges of a pizza pan, for a nice even pizza crust, whether rolled thin, or allowed to raise nice and thick & fluffy. I LOVE this new tool, and wish I'd had one decades ago!

Unpleasantly surprised
The idea of this item is good, though in actuality, after washing just once (after clipping off the new tag) the wooden handle began to splinter. I am considering returning if it's possible to return after having tossed the new tag. Have not even used this item and it's already a safety hazard, what a waste. It's possible that just this one is defective, the wood seems too soft for any lasting (or even 1 time) use.

Small rolling pin - Great results
My pie dough was so easy to roll out to a uniform almost perfect circle with this mini roller. Don't know why but it sure beat out my old rolling pin that was passed down from my mom even. And with very little flour it didn't stick to the dough.
