Already my favorites After purchasing two of the oval au gratin dishes (21 oz.) only a short time ago, they are already among my favorites. They are very versatile. I have used them for smaller recipes of fruit crisps, vegetable casseroles and for serving vegetables - the shallow oval shape is just right for many uses. The size is perfect for our two person household and the ceramic material cooks evenly and is easy to clean. The integral handles make them easy to use. Highly recommended! September 7, 2012

lovely individual augratin dish Very nice dish for individual serving. Sturdy, versatile; can go in oven, microwave, and dishwasher, and pretty enough to use on the table. In addition to using for small portion baked in the oven, I like to use it for individual serving of food with a lot of sauce, such as beef stew or coq au vin. Cobalt Cute This is a very cute little dish that I bought for my daughter for Christmas. She hasn't used it yet, but I bought the one just a little larger than this and I love it. Perfect for baked dips/spreads and this would work well for that too. January 1, 2011

Lovely I bought two of these for a special romantic dinner for me and my husband. He is from Chile and he once told me about a favorite dish he loved when he was a boy called Pastel de Cholco, which is baked and served in this type of individual casserole dish. I found a recipe on the internet and surprised him by serving it in these beautiful dishes (in white), with wine, candles, and flowers. He loved it. October 14, 2010
