I was upset that I had to go online to get directions so I could fill them. Not very professional.

Very Happy
Bought 2 mills on sale, one for salt, one for pepper.
They are very pretty and work well. Couple of previous reviews complained about no instuctions and inabiltiy to adjust grinding. The packaging refers you to their website. Click on product. There is a link to a great short YouTube video on how the to adjust the grind. A bit rough on first try, but works perfectly after a couple of uses. Just got them, so cannot comment on durabiltiy.

great product
I just love the pepper mill for grinding my fresh pepper but the mill for salt is a different matter entirely. I know they are basicly the same but the grinder just lets the large salt particules fall out the bottom. I don't need to salt to much with it the salt comes out all by itself, so I have to be very careful with that one even thought I am using the large sea salt pieces. Other than that they are very nice looking.

pepper mill
It looks nice on the counter. I had a little trouble figuring out how to adjust to get finer pepper. There were no instructions, but finally got it properly adjusted. Works great.

Worse Purchase Ever
I've been buying from Chef's for many years, but this product is by far the worse purchase ever. When you grid pepper corns the grind is courser than course making the pepper uneatable and the grinder is not adjustable. I have not tried it with salt, but I'm sure the result will be the same.

GOOD PURCHASE
NEEDED SALT AND PEPPER MILLS FOR MY DINING ROOM TABLE. THESE LOOK GOOD AND WORK WELL, ALTHOUGH THEY'RE LARGER THAN I THOUGHT.

Does Not Grind
The pepper grinder leaves nearly whole, intact peppercorns! If I still had my receipt I would return them. Though, they do LOOK nice!

Does not grind finely
Not necessarily a ding, but I returned my salt mill. There isn't an adjustment for fine-ness of grind, so my sea salt chunks came out the other end only slight ground.
