Well made heavy duty canning rack
As soon as I got my canning rack out of the box, I knew it was different not only by it's looks, but it was suprisingly heavier and well made. New versions allow small jars to drop through rack, not CHEFS version! :) My store bought canning rack rusted within a year(and rust-stained all my glass jars in the pot!), so I went with this stainless canning rack to can with this year. Looking forward to many more years of canning. I only wish it were made in America...

Stainless-Steel Flat Canning Rack
I already had a Water Bath Canner, and simply needed to rack to help remove the jars from the boiling water. Looked everywhere for just the rack, and finally found it here. The description said this rack fit most canners, around 12" in width. Well, that was apparently approximate.
When I received the rack, of course, it did not fit, was too large by about a 1/2 inch. The return shipping costs almost as much as the product, therefor not worth returning. Now I'm stuck with something else to store and cannot use, and I wasted $15.

canning rack
Haven't used the tool yet. The welds on some of the rings look a little off, but hopefully the weight of full jars will not pop them loose. Looking forward to trying it out.
