Convenient and easy
A great steamer that makes cooking asparagus very simple and easy. The stainless steel construction makes clean up easy and the basked makes cooking pasta (other than angel hair) easy. I'm very pleased.

This steamer is the best!
I am very pleased with the asparagus steamer, and I think it is really a vegetable steamer. Can't wait until we have fresh corn to steam. It is ample size to place 4 ears of corn. The best feature that not many others have is a mesh basket, that prevents asparagus from hanging out of it. I like the glass lid too, which lets me see the color of the asparagus as it cooks. I can tell when it's done as much by the color, as the time in the steamer. Nice product.

Asparagus steam cooks in half the time!
We love having an Asparagus pot. We simply break off the white ends, tie a string around as many as we choose, and voila, it's cooked in seven minutes! That's so much faster than boiling.

Great for asparagus.
Great pot for a lot of vegetables. Especially great for asparagus. This is the first time I've cooked asparagus correctly.

good pot
This was purchased because of the size of the basket's grid. Reviews of other asparagus steamers complained about open grid which allowed asparagus to slip through. Perfection with respect to its chosen task and I would expect great as a small stock pot.
It came slightly damaged but not enough to warrant the hassle of returning for replacement.

This is the best product I have ever purchased
I was so excited when my steamer arrived. I have cooked pastas,vegetables, and even lobster and crab legs for my Birthday. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

excellent product
excellent product for ease of use. does a great job steaming and does it evenly. i have used several variations for steaming and i think this is one of the better ways too get the job done quickly and easily. very good quality that will last for a very long time. i would purchase again.

Perfect asparagus every time.
I'm finally able to do a proper job cooking asparagus. This is the perfect pot to get it just right. If you've ever had to serve mushy asparagus you know just what I'm talking about.
