Fabulous chicken soup pot!
Great size for making a large pullet and some vegetables, herbs and spices into an extraordinary chicken soup! I needed an induction cooktop capable pot for this purpose and Demeyere's Maslin (whatever that means) Pan with lid clearly delivered as promised! Transferring liquids and solids is easily accomplished with the use of the arched handle. I heartily recommend this large, well designed pot for soup making and suspect it will also do well as a place for stew simmering! I am happy to be it's proud owner!

Perfect for soups, stews. Lightweight.
Perfect for soups, stews. Love the handle and wide base. Much lighter and easier to lift than Le Creuset pieces of the same size.

Love it
I ordered this during the holidays and have used it several times. It cleans up beautifully, nothing sticks, cooks evenly
and is easy to move around.

AWESOME PAN!!!
I got this for Christmas and have already used it several times over!!!! It was slightly larger than I anticipated but it is so well built(balanced) that it handles very well. Clean up is a breeze. The smaller "helper" handle is ideal. Someone put alot of thought into this pan. This will be treasured for years to come. I will just have to figure out who I will pass it down to...LOL!

Love this pot. It is so pretty I leave it on a shelve for display when I'm not using it. It is very large to cook almost anything in. My cooking teacher got this pot from her mother-in-law as a gift a long time ago. Every time she used it in class someone in the class would always ask where did you get pot? She finally found out and I got it!

Dissapointed.
Burns food on the sides. I thought that the sides were 3-ply - the way it's described in the catalog led me to believe that the sides also had an aluminum core. Not so. Otherwise the shape and handles are great. So is the top. But, since I cook without oil, you can't brown the mirapaux in this pot like you can in a 3-ply one.

I am so disappointed with this pan!! I tried it with applesauce and pea soup, both very "sticky" foods, and both stuck and scorched. I was so hoping that wouldn't happen. Beautiful pan, though, shiny and bright.
