Handy Gadget
I'm not certain "gadget" is the right term but this simple device works very well when frying foods. The day I received it I used it when frying bacon and honestly was surprised at how little grease was splatter about. Like it!

Splatter screen
Great when sauteing or frying. It allows steam to escape while still obtaining a good carmelization. It also cuts down in cleanup of your stove top.

It does the job
I bought this to cut down on oven splatter when pan-roasting chicken and other meat. It works equally well on top of the stove. I will probably eventually buy the 11" size

Excellent Product - Huge Splatter Screen
This is a great product, especially for the price! I was thrilled to find this screen because it was so much less costly then most of the other screens on the market and much larger. The construction is well made and so far there is no rusting where the handle meets the mesh. The mesh is tightly woven enough to prevent oil from coming through it. The screen is HUGE. It fits over all my pots and even fits over my wok! The handle does get hot and you will need a potholder. Also, it would be nice if the handle curved up a bit so that you don't get interference from the pot handle, but this is just a picky comment from a picky cook. I will say that the flat handle makes it easy to store despite its huge size. I put it in the top tray of my dishwasher and it comes out clean. Bravo on an Excellent Product

Best spatter guard ever
Excellent product. The fine mesh screen blocks grease spatter better than all that I have tried. True to form, Lodge makes an excellent quality product.

Great product
It was the best choice I could have made. I got it to replace a splatter screen that I have had for awhile. This is very well made and much better quality material than my old one.
I use it on a 12" rot iron skillet. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I would definately recommend it to any one looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.

Great Product
I purchased the grease splatter protector and it works GREAT !!! Another thing, the price was very reasonable and the shipment very prompt!

Very flimsy, coming apart at the handle already and it hasn't been used yet. I expected better quality from a Lodge product.
